Wanda-Michelle Interiors (WMI) specialises in bespoke interior design and renovations for the luxury residential and hospitality industry. When tasked with the renovations of this stunning home, WMI used its expertise to apply neutral, earthy colours with a combination of soft and deep blues to speak to the context and environment in which the home is situated. The company went with lighter, fresh tones on the cabinetry to lift the spaces and provide a clean look, making use of the home’s natural light. This included a combination of Duco, light oak veneer, Neolith, Eezi Quartz and mirror with satin and gloss finishes to provide contrast. WMI was also responsible for, but not limited to, the flooring, kitchen appliances, bathroom design and specification, art and custom-made sculptures, décor, window treatments, decking and pool renovation, automation and solar and landscaping in this incredible home.

Situated in a gorgeous estate, in a holiday hotspot north of Johannesburg, where one can have morning coffee while gazing at the Magaliesberg Mountain Range, this holiday home is a real treat being right on the water’s edge. When friends and family come and visit, they feel as they have been driving for hours as the tranquillity of the estate and surrounds are kin to a faraway mecca.

Wanda-Michelle Interiors received the brief to reinvent this home with a design that fits within the estate’s ethos and also provides a fresh new look as one of the estate’s features on the waterfront.
