THINK PINK CHIC

Pink has never looked as classy as it does inside the Sydney home of Alyce Tran, one of Australia's most stylish entrepreneurs

Work zone "I work from home most of the week and have become totally accustomed to this over the past few years," says Alyce in her home office, where she is a strategist for creator agency LTK and the founder of homewares business In the Roundhouse.

ALYCE TRAN KNOWS GOOD STYLE, no asterisk needed. Her resume is evidence in itself, as the co-founder of accessories label The Daily Edited and, most recently, homewares brand In the Roundhouse. But if there was ever any doubt, stepping inside her Sydney terrace home would surely close the case. "My sister describes me as a magpie when it comes to fashion and I think this has transcended into my home," says Alyce, describing her eclectic interior aesthetic. "I am into so many different looks that I am worried it's not cohesive - but then sometimes I don't mind because you can always sell and move things on and start again." The one consistent? Think pink.

UPSIZING URGE “I was previously in a two-bedroom, one-bathroom terrace and couldn't really ever have friends to stay over," says Alyce of her recent move across Sydney's suburbs. “I wanted a bit more space." Not only does her new terrace offer more room for guests and entertaining, but there's a studio space at the rear of the house that Alyce has transformed into her home office. "I also like being close to amenities, coffee, dry cleaners, and retail – in fact, I'm too close to all of my favorite retail stores now," she says with a laugh. It wasn't the cosmopolitan locale that got her over the line on this property, though - it was the natural light that illuminated the interior. "Most terraces are so dark," Alyce says. Her home is quite the opposite.
