The welcoming abode is envisioned as a getaway for the homeowners, who were called to action to commission its new avatar during the pandemic. Aditi reveals, “They wanted to renovate the home to make the most of the views of the surrounding hillside landscape. The motivation was to have a home away from home as well as a peaceful #WFH environment. To make this happen, we broke away from stereotypical hill-cottage designs and infused a sense of spaciousness through modern, minimal, and functional design elements.”
