Ever since artist Jacqueline Rooney made the decision to leave her full-time job as an art teacher behind to focus solely on her painting she always dreamt of having a dedicated gallery space. Her latest venture is more than she could ever have hoped for, combining her love of art and home interiors.
Jacqueline Rooney Art & Home sits over four floors in a beautifully maintained period building on Mary Street in the picturesque coastal town of Rostrevor. ‘I had been looking for premises for a while and as soon as I saw this property I knew it was the one for me,’ says Jacqueline. ‘Not only is it a stunning period property, but it offers so much space to bring many of the ideas I have to fruition,’ she adds.
Jacqueline’s artwork is beautifully showcased in an easily accessible retail space on the ground floor. Here you will be able to view and shop her vibrant, abstract paintings inspired by the landscape around her.
