The injection of colour, textures and style in the bathroom has led to a more interior design approach to bathroom renovation, with designers approaching projects with the complete look in mind.

‘The trend this last several years has been grey and muted backgrounds with splashes of accented colour,’ says Martin Mallon for Armatile tiles. ‘We now find stronger, bolder surfaces starting to emerge, particularly greens and blues.
