After deciding to modernise and update their interiors, the homeowners visited some kitchen designers in the Omagh area. On seeing Mountfield Kitchens’ showroom the couple fell in love with a design that was on display.
However, it was their interaction with owner Michael McElhatton which left the couple feeling that they had made the correct choice.
‘We only went to have a quick look around but the kitchens were just magnificent,’ says the homeowner. ‘Michael didn’t put any pressure on us whatsoever to buy but after speaking to him about what we would like to do he said he could call out and see if he could make any suggestions. We just found him absolutely wonderful.
’ The renovation was significant and not without some challenges. The kitchen’s wooden ceiling needed to be removed before work could commence and in order to fit the couple’s American-style fridge into the design the utility room needed to be remodelled into a walk-in pantry.
