Taking their cue from its proximity to the Bangalore Turf Club and celebrating the equine athletes that thunder down the track, DESIGNWILKES has ensured a unique aesthetic identity which ties Renaissance Bengaluru Race Course Hotel to its location.

You could watch the races from the balcony of your room in the Renaissance. With a bird’s eye view of the track and a pair of binoculars, any aficionado would be able to view a thousand pounds of finely tuned bone and muscle thunder down the straight in a pulse-racing surge of adrenalin. Celebrating this rather special location in Bengaluru’s central business district, the team at DESIGNWILKES has zeroed in on an aesthetic which draws influences from the equestrian world.

The design brief centred on an aesthetic that was contemporary; one that would make this property – which spread over 21 floors and included 246 rooms, 30 suites and 10 meeting rooms – stand out from any other in the city, while keeping the brand belief of Expect The Unexpected in mind. The suites lead out onto patios large enough to host a 20-person party, just in case guests wish to make watching the races a group activity.
