HOME Five-room HDB executive maisonette in Potong Pasir

You can't help but feel uplifted once you step inside this executive maisonette apartment owned by Thomas and Katie, a civil engineer and a sales representative, respectively. Following the firm's past maisonette projects, they approached interior designer Kuay Mei Yee at Distinct Identity to design their home.

As a result, their place, decked out in vibrant colours and accented with bold tropical wallpaper and patterned tiles, has a playful personality. Yet it doesn't feel crowded or cramped, thanks to an open floor plan that unifies the living, dining, and kitchen areas. “It's great for entertaining family and friends,” says Thomas.
