After almost 40 years, a family tractor shines anew

On the day after Christmas in 2014, I pulled this Farmall H out of the family barn where it had been sitting unused since 1976. My father, Lloyd, had bought the tractor from my grandfather John back in 1952, and then I bought it from my father in 1981.
Grandpa had purchased the H in 1941 from an International Harvester Co. dealer in La Crosse, Kansas, driving it 12 miles home to his farm near the small town of Nekoma.
