DIY CROSSCUT SLED

A crosscut sled adds functionality to any table saw, and it makes delicate cuts safer. This simple design is easy to build and will serve you for years to come.

INSTALL T-TRACKS

Cut 3/4-in. dadoes in the MDF base 13 in. from both edges. Secure the T-tracks in the channels with 5/16-in. screws.

PRO TIP

If any of the screws in the T-track poke out the bottom, clean them up with a hand file.

SHOPPING FOR MATERIALS

You can find most of the materials for this project at any home center. However, the miter sliders and T-track are easier to source online.
