I’m a ’70s baby, so growing up I spent time outdoors running wild in fields and woods. Now I live on the borders of southeast London and Kent so I’m lucky to have woodland and green spaces surrounding me, with an abundance of places on my doorstep where I can forage freely.

Making herbal remedies and foraging has been a passion since the early ’90s when my mum gave me the 1972 edition of Food for Free by Richard Mabey.
