HEATHER SHAYNE IS A YOUNG WOMAN, yet she’s light years ahead of even the most seasoned collector of vintage Christmas goods. Her Instagram handle is @mrssantaclausss for a reason. Her collection started with a just a few Santa mugs, yet soon they filled a hutch and not long after, she dedicated an entire room to her collection. Heather keeps the room open year-round, and it’s fondly known as the Santa Mug Room and currently includes over 500 vintage Santa mugs. “My goal when creating this space was to overload people with vintage Christmas cheer upon entering. It’s not just a room; it’s an experience, where you can see over 1,000 vintage Christmas goodies in one space year-round!” says Heather.
