Karen’s guests are greeted with a festive vibe of pumpkins and gourds, potted mums, stalks of wheat and side-by-side chairs to make it extra cozy and inviting.

A homestead that resembles a sanctuary sounds too good to be true, right? Not according to Karen Snyder, a blogger and home décor influencer (@sanctuaryhomedecor), who believes making a beatific home will enhance peace and joy and create a serene nuance.

Karen embraces many job descriptions, including real estate sales and event design, but blogging about home fashions and gardening is her true passion. “I love to share ideas and use my floral design and photography to tell a story with pictures,” says Karen. “This brings together everything I love in one job.”

Karen opts for thoughtful autumn decorations that complement her existing warm and sophisticated color palette. “By being selective in the colors I displayed for fall, I brought a cohesive look to my living room, and it’s a reflection of what I love,” says Karen.
