"It was a dream come true to win. I'm still pinching myself!" says Jenny Brooks, founder of Bloom Interior Designs. In March, Jenny entered our Small Business Superstar Contest on social media. After being selected as a finalist, she rallied her voters to take home the victory.
Jenny fell in love with interior design as a child, but she didn't immediately turn her passion into a profession. In fact, she launched Bloom just two years ago after renovating her home in Lexington, Kentucky.
UNIQUE PERSPECTIVE
Because she spent months working alongside amazing contractors, she learned the ins and outs of the design industry.
"I don't have a formal interior design education; on the contrary-my interior design training has evolved from an unabashed hands-on approach and a little trial and error," Jenny explains.
