HOUSE A five-bed detached period house in West Sussex
WORK To convert the loft space into a spacious family bathroom
MODERN LOOK
‘A concrete shower tray was going to be expensive and heavy,’ says Jo. ‘Whereas this composite one was affordable and has a natural-looking texture.’ Merlyn Truestone tray, £555, Victorian Plumbing
While renovating her family house in West Sussex, Jo Harding realised that the loft space had the potential to make the spacious bathroom she was hoping for. ‘I was confident that the loft would make a fantastic family bathroom,’ she says. ‘It was a nice size, but had sloping walls and a low, sagging ceiling.’
