A 5mm (US H/8) hook

TENSION

Rounds 1-4 measures 10cm (4in) in diameter using a 5mm hook, or size needed to obtain correct tension

Cushion measures 40x40cm (1534x1534in)

ABBREVIATIONS

third bl The htr st has 2 loops at the top of the stitch as well as a third loop that wraps around the centre; work st in the third loop at the back of the fabric.

NOTES

Cushion is made of 2 identical Panels, which are joined together at the end. Each Panel is worked in rounds to form a diamond shape.

The corners are then 'filled in' by working in decreasing rows.

CUSHION PANEL

(MAKE 2) DIAMOND Using Yarn A, ch4 and ss in last ch from hook to form a loop.

Round 1 (RS) Ch2 (does not count as st throughout), 12tr in loop, ss to top of beg tr.
