Knitting is actually my first love, and if someone had told me six years ago that I’d swap my knitting needles for a crochet hook, I never would have believed them! I started knitting at nine, when my mum used to care for an elderly lady named Margaret. As Mum worked, I‘d get bored, so Margaret decided to teach me to knit. I made scarves and blankets for my toys, and then one Christmas I got a knitting bag filled with everything I would need to knit toys. My first toy was a duck and that was the start of my woolly journey.
