PATTERN NOTES
The sweater is made in 4 pieces that are later sewn together: back, front and 2 sleeves. A trim around the neck is added in the end.
Weave in loose ends as you progress.
Chain-2 at beginning of a row does not count as a stitch unless otherwise stated.
The front has fewer decrease rows than the back to compensate for the fact that the lace panel is narrower than the normal double crochet stitches.
When instructed to work into next stitch, if the stitch is a chain, work into the chain space.
Increases and decreases are always worked in the stitch(es) right after the first double crochet and the stitch(es) right before the last double crochet of the indicated rows, unless otherwise stated.

Last double crochet (last dc): [Yo, insert hook in last st, yo, pull up a lp, yo pull through 2 lps] twice, yo pull through all 3 lps on hook.
