Sifu Harinder Singh’s passionate inspiration of both finds its way into this instructional video offering he puts in the work to the wood through the system’s signature training device, the Mook Jong, formatted in three sections broken down into three chapters per section for a total of nine chapters covering close to three hours of footage. Square up and take position for an expansive look at his Wooden Dummy training methods.

Sifu Harinder Singh opens this significant video submission by addressing the concepts, methods, goals, and training that will, “make sure that you’re always covered and closing your lines”, to evolve the training beyond the device to application as the DVD does. “The form teaches you structure, movement, alignment, position, concentration, body connection… so it’s important that you spend time on the form.” However, before any demonstration of the multiple variations of his Wooden Dummy sets, we look at breaking down the consistent and fundamental actions that will build upon the foundations a practitioner should already have established before learning the Mook Jong.
