Thanks for taking the time out of your busy schedule to sit with us, it’s always a pleasure to speak to you, Amy. First things first, what got you inspired to start your fitness journey and how has 2020 been treating you, kind we hope?

It’s an honor to get to chat with you, and a pleasure to get to chat with anyone, in this past odd and isolated year!

I started life fit because my father has always been a fitness junkie. We moved to California when I was a very young child, and the culture here is pretty athletic, so it’s sort of just what we do. I ran kiddie fun runs, participated in school sports, was part of my city’s ballet company, and generally enjoyed getting outside and being active, basically always. For me, exercise is play and stress relief…it’s not a chore, it’s fun and helpful. Life is more fun when one’s healthy, as well, so there’s an obvious incentive to stay fit. I’ve never considered not making fitness a part of my daily life. Even if I’d never modeled, and surely after I no longer do, I’ll still be active; it’s just a better way to go through one’s time on planet earth.
