The book Rich Dad, Poor Dad was recommended by my friend Nithya Shanti to help me gain some financial wisdom. After having read it, when he asked me for my feedback, I said that I liked the book; there is much to learn. And I also mentioned a third dad in my life: a Spiritual Dad, who has taught me to be truthful, loving, compassionate, and to see wealth from a higher perspective. He was delighted to hear this as he is also one of my mentors and suggested I write about it.
With reverence and gratitude to Morari Bapu, my uncle, and my father, who have taught me to live meaningfully with inner richness, here are some lessons I’ve learnt. I’ve presented each point from both perspectives, that of a Rich Dad and a Spiritual Dad:
Rich Dad: Make sure that you do not lose a single penny in your business. Every penny is precious.
Spiritual Dad: Make sure that you do not lose your Self while making money. Your real wealth is your faith, devotion, relationships.
