Green jackfruit flour helps lower blood sugar levels
Jackfruit is rich in many nutrients such as fibre, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, potassium, magnesium folate, riboflavin and niacin. These nutrients protect the body cells from damage, improve metabolism and ward off health conditions such as constipation, ulcers, cancer and high blood pressure. A recent study published in the journal Nutrition & Diabetes has found that consumption of flour made of green jackfruit may help lower blood sugar levels in Type 2 Diabetes.
