Learn and plan

GARDENERS are so determined: if told that one can’t sow, grow or root some plant or other then someone, somewhere, will set out to prove that they can. Generally, the old rules and timings are good general guidelines – but only guidelines, as each plot and plant performs differently, depending on the gardener who observes the results and responds wisely.
