Long-flowering larkspur are a must for Ruth’s garden

THIS week’s free seeds are for a traditional favourite that is incredibly easy to sow and grow and will self-seed with happy abandon if you let it (and I thoroughly recommend that you do).

Sarah Raven’s Larkspur ‘Giant Imperial Mixed’ seeds grow to a stately 3ft (90cm) tall and will bless your borders with elegant spires of pinks, purples and blues, each one with a small rear ‘spur’ that gives the plant its name.
