We Feed People Reveals A Hero Who's Human
Wine Spectator|July 31, 2022

“I’m José.”

“What’s your last name?” she has to ask twice.

“Andrés.”

It’s a jarring opening scene to We Feed People, a new Ron Howard-directed documentary about WCK and Andrés—who first appeared on the cover of Wine Spectator in June 2011—that’s now available on Disney+. It showcases the chef’s ability to focus on the task at hand, even when he’s literally in the trenches. “I am good at seeing opportunity where others see mayhem,” Andrés told Wine Spectator. “I am good at simplifying the big problems and understanding that the big problems actually have very simple solutions. I cook, and I feed.”
