PREP TIME 10 MINUTES SERVES 6 (MAKES 1 LITRE/4 CUPS)
Place 2 chopped lemons and 1/3 cup caster sugar in a medium bowl. Gently crush and mix with a muddling stick (or the end of a rolling pin or ladle). Transfer to a large jug. Add 1 cup gin, 1 thinly sliced orange and 6 cups crushed ice. Top up with 3 cups chilled soda water.
