This is really easy to prepare, which means less time in the kitchen and more for romance! Serves 2 EASY 15 mins
WHAT YOU NEED
2 x burrata balls
300g exotic baby tomatoes halved
6 – 8 anchovy fillets few sprigs fresh basil salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
HOW TO DO IT
1 Place one ball of burrata on each plate.
2 Surround with halved tomatoes, anchovy fillets and sprigs of basil. Season to taste and serve immediately.
DUCK BREASTS IN CHERRY SAUCE WITH BUTTERED LENTILS
Serves 2 EASY 1 hr
WHAT YOU NEED CHERRY SAUCE
1 x 425g tin pitted black cherries
125ml (½ cup) red wine
1 tsp chicken stock powder
1 tbsp sugar 1 tbsp cornflour
1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves + extra , to garnish salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
2 tbsp butter
2 duck breasts (200 – 250g each)
1 x 400g tin brown lentils
1 tbsp butter
6 baby fennel, halved lengthways
12 fine green beans handful halved and pitted fresh cherries, to garnish
