Welcome to the RC Geek! I am a full-time aerospace engineer from Southern California, and I’ve been into the RC hobby for most of my life. I also have a website and a YouTube channel called the RC Geek. My goal from Day One has always been to demonstrate building techniques, share products I enjoy, and feature incredible scale models that I find while attending RC events. My goal is to help fellow enthusiasts while promoting this hobby I enjoy so greatly. Personally, I love building and flying all things scale, and have even competed nationally in the U.S. Scale Masters Association Championships. This new addition to Model Airplane News will touch on anything and everything in RC. So let’s begin!
One of the questions I often get is, What’s on your workbench? Sometimes it’s a crashed airframe, which can actually be a gem, as it can then be used to demonstrate repair and refinishing techniques. And that’s what we have here.
FIXING A FOAM FIGHTER

PRODUCT REVIEW: RC PLANE STANDS BENCHTOP MODEL
I’m a sucker for shop stuff. I buy tools I will probably never use just because they are cool, or I might need to use them someday.
