X-Perimental Success

It comes as no surprise that dive watches are highly popular both among sports watch collectors and the average enthusiast. Their value and function are easily perceivable and, thanks to the biggest luxury sports watchmakers around, recognized as timepieces suitable for any occasion, formal or casual.

As we have previously written, these watches have not really changed much since the first was launched. This is of course due to requirements that dive watches are expected to meet for safety purposes. Apart from design and material differences, they do not tend to be terribly exciting, as Jack Forster wrote for Hodinkee.
