The story has not been widely reported, with only Robb Report and WatchPro covering it; neither HYT nor sister firm Preciflex has issued a public statement. HYT did not respond to our queries on this subject. Founder Gregory Dourde has since stepped aside to focus on Preciflex, a minority client that specialises in microfluidics. Preciflex&rsquo;s operations will continue so this may not be the end of the road for hydromechanical timekeeping. HYT&rsquo;s after-sales services will be handled by Preciflex during this period of transition.
