A full year of work-from-home, Zoom school and at-home Saturday nights is hopefully (and thankfully) on its way out. As India’s pandemic ebbs, our lives and wardrobes are coming alive again. Before you stow away the slides and bring out the stilettos, we’ve rounded up a powerful group of women working in hospitality who have long since mastered the art of dressing to impress. Their work environments (and uniforms) may vary—from the dense jungles of Rajasthan to glitzy restaurants in the heart of Mayfair—but what’s common among them is the ability to personalise their fashion choices while remaining true to the brands they represent. Some swear by the power of a well-fitted pantsuit while others wax eloquent about their love for fine textiles. As we ease back towards a sense of normalcy, who better to inspire us to look put together both at work and play?
