This, of course, shows that there are some lovers who should never be trusted but it also shows that because of technology more and more people are sending and receiving nudes. 1 CONSENT IS IMPORTANT
Sexual-health and consent educator Samantha Bitty notes that consent, just as in normal sexual relations, is important even when sending nudes. Ask yourself whether YOU are choosing to send it and not being forced and is whoever on the receiving end ready and willing to receive it.
It is important to note that you don’t have to send nudes if you don’t want to. You may not be in the mood to get that risqué pic out there, or maybe sexting just doesn’t tickle your fancy or, maybe you are the type of person who says, ‘You want to see me naked? Then you better be here in person.’ Corny, sure, but there’s nothing wrong with that. Don’t send nudes unless you really want to. Also, if your partner doesn’t understand this, then is he really the one?
