RED HOT

The perfect matte red lip relies on application. “A lip liner in the same shade as your lipstick all over the lip keeps the look matte and holds the colour,” says Jefferyes. “Keep skin minimal and fresh and just curl lashes; you don’t need mascara.”

HEAVY METAL

A metallic lipstick might sound full-on but it’s actually super flattering. “Define the lips with a pencil before you apply lipstick,” says Jefferyes. This look benefits from some definition on the eyelids using an eyeshadow in the same shade family. “It adds life to the eyes.”
