Let’s not forget that Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana are in fact good Catholic gentlemen, albeit the rebellious prints, riotous fashion shows and reputably sensual designs. And in times of global ambiguity, they turned to divine iconography for their Autumn/ Winter 2018/19 collection, as Men’s Folio discovered at the press presentation in Beijing.
Those in the know would tell you that you can depend on Dolce & Gabbana shows to keep you abreast of the next generation of red carpet stars with sky-high modelling and acting dreams. Case in point: last season, the runway of the Italian brand was taken over by the likes of Dylan Brosnan, Brandon Thomas Lee, Tyler Clinton, Myles B O’Neal, Sacha Bailey, Roberto Rossellini and Tuki Brando. The lads were not alone in stealing the show; they were accompanied by a power girl squad that included the Stallone sisters and some of the most influential names in European fashion. Their mission? To demonstrate the influence of today’s youth.
