More and more beauty brands are becoming aware of the consequences of their action and the impact on environment. The rise of organic, animal cruelty free and natural products is giving way to mindless use of chemicals that eventually are dumped into the ocean.

With the help of social media and marketing, consumers, too, are more aware of the kind of products they should use, the kind of ingredients that would suit their skin without killing a furry animal. The result of ingredients, and most importantly, an understanding of labels on the products, has also helped in the shift from chemical products to natural, organic and cruelty-free products. Responsible beauty is the way forward.
