Shot in Rome, the miniseries follows actor Silvia Calderoni throughout the course of a day with cameos from Harry Styles, Florence Welch and Billie Eilish all outfitted in the new collection.While the show format is an &ldquo;Ouverture&rdquo; to get excited about, this collection saw Michele staying true to Gucci stalwarts with updated prints and colours. The GG Multicolour collection, launched as part of the Ouverture episode/chapter/collection (at this point we&rsquo;re not sure what to call it, but you get the gist) is a play on the House&rsquo;s GG logo with a vivid colour palette&mdash;a design language that we&rsquo;ve become accustomed to since Michele&rsquo;s first collection where he famously mixed the GG motif with flowers. The GG logo&mdash;now expressed in a riot of colours&mdash;are featured on some of Gucci&rsquo;s most recognised bags and shoes like the GG Marmont, Princetown slippers and Tennis 1977 sneakers, as well as a selection of ready-to-wear such as a silk twill jacket, wool cotton cardigan and canvas jacket. After years of pushing everything new, Michele is bringing back the past with a sense of renewal and regeneration that is very much in line with his seasonless offerings.
