Enlighten us on your journey from Modelling to Karate Champion
My journey as a model begin with Miss India in 2000. Before that I did some intercollegiate shows and also some fun shows with friends. I always wanted to be in army or be a lawyer and the twist in my career completely changed my life. I was pretty much a tomboy in my attitude. Glamour - glitz of the modelling world did change me and my perception of being. Right from childhood the experience of a sportsperson was so strongly thriving in me that I joined martial art in 2004 and never looked back.
According to you who can be called a successful model?
A successful model is the one who inspires other girls as a role model . Not only does she have a great body but also a strong will to achieve a successful career and brand herself for future models to look upto her. In India Madhu Sapre was one such model I really appreciated.
