In the ever-evolving makeup industry with a slew of makeup artists striving to create a name for themselves, we’re proud to see how each of Shubhdeep’s brides look happier and content with themselves. Shubhdeep comes from a multicultural background, growing up between India and Australia.
As a child, she had a strong artistic inclination and an affinity for beauty and fashion. Her natural ability to make clients not only look beautiful, but feel beautiful has made her a favourite among the people of fashion industry. She has done films in Australia and has also been a part of Melbourne fashion week several times. She bounced around trying careers; literature and cultural studies but everything came down to art, fashion and beauty in the end.
When did you know a career in beauty was for you?
I realized that my obsession with beauty products and fashion were more than just vanity, it mean something to me. Growing up I enjoyed drawing, so then I came to find a way to express my creativity and fascination with beauty through the art of makeup. Then I decided to go for a makeup degree from Australia. Fortunately my family has always been extremely supportive to my work and I got so much love from my clients that I feel blessed.
Today’s woman is busier than ever. What is the easiest/quickest way to turn a day/work look into something that works for night out?
Put on a bold lipstick, load on the highlighter and wing your liner- to take your makeup from day to night.
What are your favourite Fall/Winter 2018 beauty trends?
Super long lashes are at the top on the list and the glowing complexion- opt for liquid highlighter and mix them with the foundation.
