TAHIRA KASHYAP KHURRANA
Tahira Kashyap Khurrana, is an accomplished author with books such as, I Promise and Souled Out, to her credit. This year she has added another feather to her cap by donning the director’s avatar as she helms a short film, Toffee that has been produced by Ayushmann and has Mukesh Chhabra as the casting director.
Tahira Kashyap, who is actor Ayushmann Khurrana’s wife, has always been an inspiration to many - those in her inner circle and her the huge fan base too. Tahira and Ayushmann’s love story is not less than a fairy-tale romance. And the most tangible memento of their bond is their two lovely kids’ son Virajveer and daughter Varushka. Like it happens in all fairy tales, real life too has it's curve balls that it throws at us. And like all fairy tale heros, Tahira & Ayushmann emerged not only as heroes of their own story but have inspired millions who have been touched by tale of sheer grit and love.
Recently, Tahira made a public post about how she dealt with the high risk of getting breast cancer. This time too the love of the duo won against the treacherous disease cancer.
Excerpts from an interview with this power girl...
You and Ayushmann has been giving some major couple goals since forever. What is the secret of balancing your relationship and work life?
We give each other a lot of space. We both come from a creative background, that’s how we have always been and that’s how we met, so the congruent area is very large. We understand each other’s space and that is how it works for us.
Tell us something about your kids? Who is the naughtiest?
My son Virajveer is 6 years old and my daughter Varushka is 4 year old. The little one, my daughter is the naughtiest.
Who is stricter with the kids? You or Ayushmann?
