Hardevinder Singh Sandhu aka Harrdy Sandhu, the heartthrob of Punjab, who made his debut in 2012 as a singer and earned a spot in the Punjabi pop music space. After a series of groovy songs, Harrdy, seamlessly shifted to some melodic renditions with his mellifluous voice in Kya Baat Ay.

You always wanted to be a cricketer, than how did you land up in the Punjabi Music industry?
I have represented India at the Under-19 level, I always wanted to be a professional cricketer and I have played with Shikhar Dhawan. He was my roommate, and I have also played with Cheteshwar Pujara and Ishant Sharma. However, an injury in 2006 forced me to give up on the sport and move to Australia. IPL started around the same time, when I moved to Australia and I saw my juniors playing in the league. That made me depressed. So, I came back to get started with the sport again but suffered another injury. Since I couldn’t play any longer, I decided to pursue my first passion — singing. I started learning in 2009, got my first album out in 2011.
