She belongs to that circle of creative geniuses who are known not only for their talent, but also for their attitude towards work. She has been a part of Indian fashion scene from the times when there was hardly any fashion on the scene in Punjab.
She has earned a name for herself in both India and abroad, and now she is all ready to make her name in Pollywood Industry with her captivating acting skills. Meet the lovely lady Aman Kaur Dhaliwal.
Give a brief about yourself?
I have my roots in the royal city of Patiala, having born and brought up in an environment which exuberates art, culture and of course the royalty. I have always been extrovert and a fun loving person who learnt to enjoy life to the hilt from my parents. However one thing that probably distinguished me from the gang of friends was that I was very focused towards my goals and had been a determined achiever. As far as my work culture was concerned, I seldom mixed fun and frolic with work.
I had the privilege of having my education in renowned elite institutions right from my school days and also had varied and wide exposure of the university life, which gave wings to my vision and enlightenment.
I had my complete education in the city of Patiala and was stung by the bee of fashion and elegance during my tender age of teens. I was an ardent painting enthusiast and it was from this pursuit, I graduated to Fabric Painting.
When did you decide to take up fashion line as your career?
I was inspired to carry out certain innovations into my pursuit of fabric painting by my patrons, friends and of course the family. The apparels thus made out of my paintings, were an instant hit and it was from here, I set my foot into fashion designing.
