Spring Break Staycation

Travel plans on hold this year? No worries—home is where it’s happening. Here’s how to map out the ideal anti-getaway right in your own backyard...

Spring Break Staycation

SURE, YOU’D LOVE TO SPEND YOUR SPRING BREAK AT A FARFLUNG DESTINATION (WOULDN’T WE ALL?). BUT WHILE AN EXCURSION IS (STILL, SADLY) LIKELY OUT OF THE QUESTION, YOU DON’T NEED TO GO GLOBETROTTING TO REAP THE REWARDS OF AN EPIC ADVENTURE OR BEACHY RETREAT. HERE’S HOW TO PLAN A CUSTOM (AND SAFE) STAYCATION...

SET YOUR INTENTION

To achieve max #vacayvibes from your staycation, first decide what kind of experience you’re hoping to have. Are you looking for the benefits of a beach trip—free time to disconnect and destress? Are you craving an outdoor adventure—with opportunities to explore and appreciate nature? Or is a city excursion more your thing—art, culture, delish cuisine?

Once you define your goals, look for activities that will support your vision like a virtual cooking class, a tour of the best local hiking trails, a bucket list of the coolest museums and hidden-gem restaurants...or even just a stack of books and a hammock.
