Girls' Life magazine|December 2019/January 2020
This Just In: The holidays aren’t only about piles of presents, yummy pies and tons of parties. All Your Awkward Holiday Sitches… Solved

THE SITCH: You don’t have enough money to buy everyone loads of presents.

SOLVE IT: Go for personal over pricey. Sure, your bestie makes you feel like a million bucks—but that doesn’t mean you have to spend every cent of your babysitting money just to let her know how much she means to you. This year, go for meaningful mementos. Is she super sporty? Fill up an empty insulated water bottle with energy bars, hair bands and a pair of running socks. Have an awesome pic of you and big sis? Get it printed and put it in a nice frame so she can enjoy it IRL instead of just on Insta. Bake up a batch of sugar cookies for your crew—then monogram with their initials in icing or just gift them some candy with a card telling them how much you heart having them in your life. Almost free— and so sweet.

THE SITCH: From your lovable but loony great-aunt to your bratty cousins, your fam is way hard to handle.
