MAMTA TRIES IT…

Come January, team ELLE will soon be jumping on the ‘new year new you’ bandwagon, cleaning up cabinets, trying new routines and making resolutions. But somewhere in the lockdown we already got quite occupied with the idea of ‘new you’, especially when it comes to our skin. It’s probably got a lot to do with our obsession with skincare, trying different formulations and slowly expanding our slapdash routines to 30-minute long rituals. It also kick-started our collective fascination with exfoliation—a buzzword right now and for good reason.

Chemical exfoliators are known to improve texture, tone while reducing pigmentation and acne; and social distancing provided the right conditions to take extra care of our skin while it was at its most sensitive. Our social media feeds have been crowded with selfies of people wearing The Ordinary’s infamous Peeling Solution, aka ‘the ticket to baby soft skin’.

Biologique Recherche P50 Lotion, ₹4,900

iS Clinical Cleansing Complex, ₹3,980
