When artistic director Virginie Viard launched the Coco Neige 2021/22 collection earlier this year, she did so in the legendary Left Bank nightclub Chez Castel. It was a venue fit for the playful reveal of a collection inspired by the legendary style of the late Stella Tennant, a Chanel icon for so many years.
The Chanel girls walked down the club’s narrow stairs in their après-ski coats, ski pants with cropped jackets, crochet skirts and suits with sequinned panels — all in a palette of black, white and hot pink shearling.
