The year was 1999 when the B.Zero1 was born, created out of the idea of capturing the fluid geometry of Rome’s most iconic monument, the Colosseum, and transmuting it into a piece of jewellery. The first B.Zero1 was a five-band ring, made entirely out of yellow gold, in a design reminiscent of Tubogas — a type of Italian industrial gas pipe from the 1920s. It was named “B” for Bulgari and Zero.1 for infinite beginnings.
