The Tiffany Diamond is one of the most elusive precious stones around. Throughout its 143 years of history, the 128.54-carat yellow Tiffany Diamond has only been worn by four famous women: Audrey Hepburn, American socialite Mrs. E. Sheldon Whitehouse, Lady Gaga, and Beyoncé. The next one will mark the diamond’s fifth appearance, albeit only as a replica, because the exorbitant price and intense security detail attached to the real thing would be unimaginable.

The jewel will be featured in Death on the Nile, a new film directed by Kenneth Branagh which is based on Agatha Christie’s 1937 novel of the same name. First released in 1978, this updated version boasts an all-star cast including Armie Hammer and Gal Gadot, who will wear the iconic diamond as a necklace.

“The necklace that Simon (Armie Hammer) gifts my character Linette had to be something incredibly rare and special. I was absolutely thrilled when costume designer Paco Delgado told me it would be a recreation of the Tiffany Diamond, one of the world’s most important diamonds,” said Gal Gadot.
