Remember when we could sit in a room and laugh/cry with other people?

The last movie we went to before quarantine was a packed weeknight showing of The Invisible Man. For two hours, surrounded by the smell of popcorn, we watched Elisabeth Moss’s character take down her abusive ex-boyfriend. When the woman in front gasped an ‘Oh, hell no’ at a pivotal moment, we felt it like it was part of the plot.

It was definitely part of the experience—one we miss everything about, right down to the questionably sticky floors.
