“This kurta is from Péro, by Aneeth Arora. Aneeth is one of my favourite Indian designers, primarily for her sustainable approach to making clothes that are wearable, versatile, and classic. I must confess that I’m a Péro sale addict. Every year, when Aneeth’s team comes to Mumbai for their annual sale, I am usually the first in line. When you’re shopping in the peak of summer, a breathable fabric in a fresh, sorbet colour like this makes for a good investment. And the gingham checks in hand-spun cotton, with clever detailing, further made it a must-buy for me. It is my daywear staple, and I usually wear it with a pair of light jeans or relaxed linen trousers, Birkenstock sandals or white Converse sneakers, and my trusty Casio digital watch... Easy, effective, and comfortable.”
