TOUR

Summer 2022 is just around the corner, and Apparel leaves no stones unturned to walk you through the celebrated fashion runways of London, Paris, New York and Milan. Let’s take a sneak-peak into trending menswear fashion for the summer of 2022! We discover the charms of the new-age colour, silhouettes and other aspects catering to inclusivity and sustainability, leaving an emboldening statement in the designed apparel.

THE MANTRA

Since the pandemic cast its daunting footprints in 2020, uptight fashion took a backseat, and ‘relaxed’ emerged as a new mantra. As we step into 2022, men are on the verge of getting up and getting out, and the volatile situation outside forces them to take a backseat. Fashionists, therefore, take it upon them to make the apparel more fluid and fun in orientation to keep the mood upbeat.

THE COLOUR PALATTE

Pantone has crowned ‘Very Peri’ as the colour of 2022. The inclines are inspired by notes of lilac and mauve, and its purple counterparts, which spell out wellness. Most fashionists seek inspiration from the colour, and have boldly ventured onwards to incorporate other vivacious hues in men’s clothing, simultaneously making fashion a lot more inclusive and sustainable. The psychedelic charm has worked wonders. Vivid shades of neon keep happiness from dying out, making a rather bold statement of being, ‘In the comfort zone of happiness’.
